Therein, his life was in  peril from his  motherly uncle, kansa. The  dictator Kansa, was told by a voice in the sky that one of her children would kill him. Kansa decided to kill Devaki so that she does n’t give rise to any children, but Vasudeva, her hubby  prayed Kansa to forgive Devki and promised that he’ll give any of her child to Kansa, so  also Kansa on this assurance from Vasudev, let Devki go. He  locked  both Devaki and Vasudeva. Kansa made sure that none of her children survived. thus, in order to  cover lord Krishna, his father Vasudev carried him in a handbasket across the raging Swash Yamuna to Vrindavan. There Krishna was  espoused and brought up by Yashoda and Nanda.
